Mitchell “Mitch” Gurick, 83, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022, after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Beloved husband of Rosemarie “Bojie” (nee Serpico) Gurick for 61 years. Loving father of Julie (Mike) Ferconio and Frank (Lucia) Gurick. Proud grandfather of Annie, Frank, and Michael, Jr. Dear brother of the late George (late Olga), late Helen (late Nick) Ekovich, and the late Walter (late Toni). Special brother-in-law to Frances “Sis” (Ron) Burkhart and Sandra “Sandy” (Andy) Cisarik. Affectionate uncle of many nieces and nephews. Wonderful friend and father figure to so many. Some places you would often find Mitch are: on the golf course, Chicago White Sox game, Palermo’s restaurant, a casino, on a cruise and the occasional late night White Castle run. But his most treasured places – anywhere that had family and friends.
