Kay is remembered in her community for many things. Some knew her as a teacher, where she taught many of Pecatonica's kids for 28 years. Some knew her through the church, clubs and organizations that she was involved with, including St. Mary's, the Women's club and Historical Society. Kay dealt with Parkinson's for over 20 years but no one "knew" Kay for her disease. She was never one to let Parkinson's get in her way.
As we remember Kay, please consider donating to MJF Foundation in lieu of flowers. She would want to know that there is a world possible in which others would not let PD get in their way.
