$50.00Barbara Biehl Baker, 88, formerly of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully in Gainesville, Georgia Saturday, October 10, 2022.
Born on December 24, 1933 in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Glenn E. Biehl and Helen H. Biehl. She was a retired registered nurse and a cherished friend to all. Ms. Baker fought a ferocious 25-year battle with Parkinson’s, taking each day one day at a time with an amazing spirit and zest for life.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, with a witty sense of humor, who always brought joy and compassion to those she touched during her lifetime, offering guidance or a listening ear. For her, it was always “family first” and she lived her life passionately following those simple words.
Ms. Baker, formerly married to her loving late husband, Nelson Baker, is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Brooke Green; sons and daughters-in-law, Nelson and Dawna Baker, and Ron and Anita Baker; daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Chris Campbell; grandchildren, Ryan Baker, Allison Gifford, Kylee Caldwell, Cory Carmin, Zachary Carmin, Amy King, Christy Smith, Sara Campbell, and Luke Campbell; and nine great-grandchildren.
