Mike was a lifetime friend of my husband, Ben, and best man at our wedding. We shared so many wonderful times together starting with dating, engagements, weddings, births of our children, vacations, losses and just plain best and worst of life's experiences.
Ben and Mike spent a lot of time together. Ben developed Parkinson's Disease and passed away a year ago from the disease. Mike developed the disease while
Ben was still alive. He would visit Ben faithfully and was a supportive and caring friend. It was difficult for Mike to see Ben decline knowing that he was on the same journey. He fought the good fight. Mike's symptoms progressed but through it all some days were better for him than others. Sadly, he succumbed to this dreaded disease this past week. Friends are together once again for Eternity.
