$50.00Bobby E. Hayes was born January 31, 1939 to Ernest "Bud" Eugene & Willa Mae Davenport Hayes. Bobby graduated from Trion High School in 1957. He married Sandra Kay Williams on December 23, 1961. He was drafted and served two years in the United States Army (1962-1963). Bobby was self-employed with his Dad in the family upholstery business. His last employment was with Mount Vernon Mills in Trion, Georgia from 1992 to his retirement in June 2004. Bobby was a 40-year cancer survivor. He had cancer in his right eye in 1983, and the eye was removed in January 1985. Bobby was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in April 2006. He suffered from Parkinson's for 16 years and two months. He passed away on June 13, 2022. Surviving was his wife of 60 years, one son, Brad E. Hayes, daughter-in-law, Judy Swanson Hayes, grandson, Luke Hayes, granddaughter-in-law, Randi Harbuck Hayes, and grandson, Jake Hayes. Bobby E. Hayes was buried in the family cemetery in Chattooga County, Georgia - Williams Cemetery in Halls Valley.
