$662.75It is with great sadness that the family of Jane B. Stevens announced her passing on September 9, 2022, at the age of 78. For 8 years, Jane bravely battled Parkinson’s disease, during which she demonstrated persistence, courage, compassion and faith even as the disease intensified. Jane is survived by her husband, Tom and her three children, daughter Kate Kane and son in law Mike; son TJ and daughter in law, Stephanie; daughter, Marybeth and son in law, Jon. Jane is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Agnes Brandwood . She adored her grandchildren, Bradley, Madison, Brianna, Jenna, Jonathon, Emma, Avery, Brendan and Ryleigh.
Jane was a teacher for 25 years at St. Gregory the Great Preschool. A Graduate from Georgian Court College, she began her career in the city in interior design. After having her children, she pursued a degree in education at Rider University. Over the course of her lifetime, Jane was an active member of her church, Our Lady of Sorrows, Nottingham Highschool Booster Club, (Daughters of Our Lady of Sorrows), CAC (Catholic Alumni Club) where she met Tom and Monmouth University's "Alumni Family", where Tom, Kate and TJ were Alumni. In her free time she enjoyed getting together with her "craft ladies"
Jane loved spending time with her family beach house in Ortley Beach.
Jane was a two times breast cancer survivor before Parkinson's. Her family will be forever grateful to the incredible staff at Serenity Hospice for caring for Jane.
