$1407.50It is with great sadness that the family of King Hoo Wong announced his passing on May 26, 2022, at the age of 87. King is survived by his wife, Chung Woon (Amy) and his two children, Angela (Klaus) and Alex (Katherine). He loved his grandchildren, Erik, Thomas, Jade and Nicholas.
King was born in Toishan, China and was the oldest of seven siblings. His family moved to Hong Kong where they seek better life opportunities. He worked multiple jobs to help support his brothers and sisters and took them under his wings during their upbringing. He met Amy in Hong Kong while both working as teachers and raised a family of two children. He had a distinguished career working for the British Government in Hong Kong then moved to the United States and developed a successful Real Estate portfolio. King was fiercely committed to preserving and cultivating his family and planning for future generations.
King was a mild mannered, kind soul that was always observant and protective of his family. He was always a teacher to his family and to his grandchildren providing guidance on being thoughtful and wise. He loved landscaping, reading the newspaper, eating a good meal and enjoying the magnificent views from his homes. His wisdom and thoughtfulness were always evident in his actions. During his retirement, he focused on traveling the world with Amy and spending time with his family and enjoying their company.
