Raised in Tribute:
$306.75It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara "Barb" Lee Beers on April 19, 2022. Barb bravely battled Parkinson's for 6 long years yet through it all she remained the kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister everyone knew and loved.
Barb loved family meals but preferred leaving the cooking to restaurants. In fact, she was known to say the only reason she had a kitchen at all was because it came with the house. She was also quite fond of Dairy Queen and was rumored to be able to smell them out.
Family truly was what she valued the most. She was our biggest fan during the seemingly endless number of activities: band concerts, softball games, baseball games, hockey games and not to mention all the practices. But large family gatherings, be it a backyard BBQ or a holiday, is where her smile shined the brightest.
Barb was always quick to laugh and was a friend to all. She will certainly be missed but her spirit lives on through her two children and five grandchildren.
