Raised in Tribute:
$3838.50Thank you for visiting the tribute page for Don Wolf ("Wolfy")! Don battled Parkinson's Disease for 26 years, and the tenacity with which he battled PD was unbelievable and incredibly inspiring to all who witnessed it. Never one to complain, he maintained a positive attitude and a quick-witted sense of humor through it all, regardless of what PD threw at him.
Don was a dedicated husband to his wife Janet, a marriage that spanned 45 years. He was a father of four kids, three sons (Rick, Tim, Alan) and one daughter, his "pretty girl" Abby. He was a fantastic Father-in-Law to Jen, Anne, and Ryan; and he was a proud grandfather to Madison, Miley, John, Owen, Nora, Isla, and MJ. Time with his family - and most notably watching his kids and grandkids play sports - brought him great joy.
Don was a phenomenal brother to his three brothers and three sisters. The oldest of seven, Don set a great example for his younger siblings of dedication to family and friends, and hard work. He was also fortunate to have quite a few close friends, which were relationships he cherished greatly.
Don was an early-onset Parkinson's patient, having been diagnosed at the age of 44. He said he was "going to fight to the end", and he wasn't kidding. He was and still is such an inspiration. PD didn't define him, and PD didn't win this fight! We appreciate your consideration of making a donation to MJFF in Don's honor to help put an end to PD.
