My husband Bob Northrop was diagnosed with Parkingson's Disease in 2015. The last 2 years it progressed rapidly. He had to give up driving and his biggest passion ( besides me - lol )
Horseback riding. We lost his favorite horse 2 1/2 years ago. It really hit him hard. We gave the 2 mares to a friend on Oct. 5, 2021. On Oct. 7, 2021 he was admitted to ICU with a temperature of 105. He was fighting an infection. After 2 weeks he went to a local nursing home for rehabilitation to gain strength and mobility. He improved the first week. Then had a bad fall where he ended up with a Fractured nose and brain bleed. After a week he ended up in ICU for another 2 weeks. The fall was so hard it put him into a rare condition of Parkingson's Malignant Syndrome. I was told usually a patients brain can reset. But, he passed away November 13, 2021. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, sibling, friend, uncle and step Dad. He loved me, his family, his little dog Sohie. He also loved horses, fishing, and mowing the lawn. I don't want to see anyone go through what he did. My donation is for his first birthday in heaven. May it help in some small way. 🙏
