Raised in Tribute:
$20.00Martha battled Parkinson's for about 25 years. We are very thankful that medications were developed that helped diminish the symptomatology of this horrible disease. It allowed her to continue her quilting, meal making and being with her family for many years. However, this insidiously progressive disease took from her physically and mentally. We know that not many patients live with Parkinson's as long as she did and are grateful for the time we were given, but we also saw the end stages of this disease which included Parkinson's psychosis. Although Martha's battle is over, many patients still need a cure. Your donations to fund research to win the war against Parkinson's will honor Martha's memory.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
