$50.00Gary Rheo Gagne, passed away in Ipswich, MA on March 15. 2022, surrounded by his loving family after 20+ year battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He was born in Holyoke to J. Rheo and Yvette (Houle) Gagne and grew up in the Willamansett neighborhood of Chicopee, Massachusetts. He graduated from Chicopee High School and Westfield State College, where he was named Most Likely to Succeed. He followed that with an exemplary career at The Travelers Companies which lasted nearly four decades. He was most proud of his role in the formation of The Premier Insurance Company of Massachusetts where his strategic vision, leadership and mentorship were an inspiration to all his colleagues. Gary was a dedicated golfer throughout most of his life; he also loved all the outdoors, especially hiking with his family; and nothing made him happier than spending time with his grandchildren.
