Peter Kuntz Prutzman 3/30/44-1/28/22
Peter was never keen on the idea of dying. He lived with Parkinson’s disease for his final 16 years. With whatever challenges his body threw at him in any given day, he would carry on and say he wanted to live as long as he was serving a purpose and contributing in some way. Peter would see a problem and seek a solution. There are many examples (often involving concrete), whether creating a new landscape, aiding campaigns of his favorite local politician, or picking up a paint brush and leaving a trail of new hues (sometimes unexpected).
Peter was frequently reciting Tennyson, quoting Lincoln, singing Prine, questioning Campbell, narrating Steve Martin, and speaking directly to Alexa. His mind was attuned to the exploration of, and respect for, brilliance. He will be greatly missed. As many wrestle with the various symptoms brought on by Parkinson’s disease, they too may find that their own personal contributions are impacted. By donating, you are honoring Peter’s drive to solve problems and contribute in meaningful ways. Your tribute carries on Peter’s memory and continues a purpose (unstoppable by death). Thank you for honoring Peter, raising consciousness to the cause, helping to create new treatments, and ultimately finding the cure to this cruel disease. Thank you.
