$51.50Donald Edson Krider, 79 of Ocean Twp. and formerly of Sea Girt passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at his home with his devoted children at his bedside.
Born in New Florence, PA, he had lived in Chatham, Chester, England, Morristown, Singapore, and then in Sea Girt for 5 years before moving to Ocean Twp. 16 years ago.
He was a graduate of Penn State University, and worked as an Engineer for Exxon Oil Corporation, Florham Park for his entire career. After taking sailing lessons and piloting his own 16 ft. Sun Fish, he later enjoyed sailing model boats at the Spring Lake and he was active in a Tai Chi class in Spring Lake. He was also an avid birder and actively participated in banding eagles at the Manasquan Reservoir, where he frequently could be found eagle watching.
He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen (nee Rae) Krider on December 3, 2011 and his parents Ralph and Margaret (nee Leighty) Krider.
Surviving are his children, daughter Kristina Krider of Asheville, NC and son Greg Krider and wife Julie Zucker Krider and granddaughter Sasha Krider of South Orange, and his sister Elaine Spagnolli and her husband David Spagnolli of Mars, Pa.
