Raised in Tribute:
$195.75Ingrid Klara Fritsch lived 30 of her 70 years with Parkinson's Disease.
She truly lived.
She didn't let it slow her down, change her way of life, or keep her from enjoying anything.
She worked hard and did all of the physical therapy she could, riding her bike to her appointments when the disease prevented her from being able to drive a car. She continued to sew, knit, cook, bake, and play cards and board games. Never did the quality or success of anything she made or played lose to Parkinson's. Her knitting was perfect, her sewing projects looked factory made with perfectly straight and neat lines, and she always slyly won games with her grandchildren. She never complained even though it was likely painful, frustrating, and exhausting.
She always was positive and had a smile on her face.
She was fortunate to have the deep brain stimulation treatment which was very successful and allowed her to stay on top of the disease for many additional years. We are so grateful for her team of doctors in Germany.
Family and friends in Germany are donating to a Parkinson's organization in Germany.
We decided to open up this fundraiser in the US in her honor as her kindness and warmth extended well beyond the borders of Germany.
Thank you for considering donating in her memory.
