$225.00Steven Lynn Warren, born 1956 in Freeport, TX, the baby of 8 children. Grew up in Lake Worth until he was 16, he then moved to Cuba, NM with his family to do mission work on the Navajo Reservation, and graduated from Cuba High School in 1975. Married his wife Debbie in 1976, raised their two children, Andrea and Aaron, in Godley, TX. He loved traveling with his family, and especially loved visiting Colorado. Steve worked at General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin for many years, was a cameraman for Dave Roever, went into education, serving on the Godley ISD school board, working various roles in Joshua and Godley schools, served on the city council, was an area representative for Education First Student Exchange Programs, mentored for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and worked as a house leader for MHMR. Steve taught Sunday school, Children’s church, and led worship at First Assembly of God Church in Godley for many years and was known to have a beautiful voice himself. To know Steve was to know that he could tell a great story, had a great sense of humor, was always willing to help, loved good gospel music, loved the Dallas Cowboys, loved his family, and loved his Lord. Since 2003 Steve had battled Parkinson’s and all the challenges that came, with strength, and faith, and love, from his family and devoted wife. He is survived by his wife Debbie; daughter Andrea, husband Justin, children Eli, Sawyer, and Shyanne; son Aaron, wife Angela, children Kayla and Matthew. He has four remaining siblings, EJ Warren, Becky Stanley, David Warren, and Gayle Carr. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. Edwin and Lenora Warren, as well as siblings Dale, Michael, and Lila.
