Michael Edward Morrill was an incredibly dedicated and loving husband and father. He was an astronomer, an aerospace engineer, a model railroader, and a craftsman. He loved science fiction and Bollywood movies. He could be quiet and philosophical, and he could be uproarious with laughter. His heart had no bounds of generosity towards others.
After a long battle with Parkinson’s, Michael passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on January 15, 2022. He was 76 years old. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Liz Parrott, his 33-year-old son, Paul, and his sister, Marlaine Brown. We miss you terribly, and we’ll always love you. May he rest in peace among the stars.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
