Raised in Tribute:
$2955.50Edward A. Wolski who was born on June 13, 1939 was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, father-in-law, godfather, and friend to many. He put family above all else. He was hard working and and had a big, gentle heart. If you knew him, you loved him.
He was a successful businessman, handyman, and golfer who was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He was an insurance broker by trade and loved to make things from wood as a hobby - from building a spiral staircase to a gazebo. He was a man of many talents who enjoyed laughing. People were drawn to the twinkle in his eyes, bright smile, and witty personality. Ed really knew how to work the room at a party making guests feel as if they were the only ones there.
Unfortunately in 2011, Ed was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and Lewy Body Dementia and suffered from the disease until the day he passed away on December 24, 2021. We are certain he is in Heaven, dancing at a party he is likely joyfully hosting and refilling everyone's cocktail glass with a stiff pour (the famous "Wolski pour").
By donating to this cause, you are helping support awareness and funding research for a cure for Parkinson's. We sincerely thank you for your generous support and kind heart.
Let's all raise a glass in honor of Ed and to a cure for Parkinson's as he watches over us from Heaven.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
