Carl Frederick Manfra, 70, of the Succasunna section of Roxbury Township, passed away at Morristown Medical Center on Friday, July 30, 2021 after a decade long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Born in Orange, NJ to the late Carl M. and Rose (D'Aloia) Manfra, he was a lifelong resident of New Jersey, settling in Succasunna 35 years ago.
Carl was a civil engineer who specialized in fire & safety protection, working as Vice President of Loss Control for Crum & Forster in Morristown for many years. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and was a car show enthusiast. Carl, an avid craftsman, also started his own business, Wooden Wonders, where he built custom wooden toys. He was an avid NY Yankees fan.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Joyce (Parness); two sons, Eric and his wife Danielle, and Craig and his wife Michele; a brother Frederick and his wife Lucinda; two sisters, Mary Ellen Woods and her husband Robert, and Susan Braun and her husband Donald; and three adored grandchildren, Estelle, Quinn, and Calvin.
