$1031.25Marie Gilman passed away on November 9, 2021. She suffered many health problems resulting from her Parkinson's Disease which led to her demise.
Marie spent a lifetime loving and caring for people, and being loved by all who had the good fortune to know her. Known for her infectious smile, she will be missed but not forgotten.
The 2nd oldest of Ben & Mae Huggins 5 children. Marie worked for CARE Inc. and several health care agencies, in New York & Hawaii caring for the sick, the elderly and the infirmed. Many patients maintained contact with Marie long after their treatment was completed. Until her death she was in contact with many former patients and/or their families.
Marie is survived by her husband and companion of 52 years, Mark Gilman of Brooklyn, NY. Mark was by her side when she passed peacefully. They had no children but were actively involved in the upbringing of several nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered as a kind, gentle, giving, and loving person who always put the needs and feelings of others before her own.
She will be missed.
