Raised in Tribute:
$201.50Some are known for their boisterous personality or for the gift of gab. Diane Priscilla Bees had a quiet confidence and brilliant smile.
She never sought out attention. She thought carefully. The words and sentiment that flooded her heart were expressed in every pastry she baked and meal she planned, from dinner themes to the story and design of cakes. She poured her creativity and love in each special creation.
Although her physical limitations prevented her from much in life, her imagination lifted her heart, from wanting to be a guitar playing cowgirl as a kid to having a fascination with the history of the Vikings and barbarians, to wanting to be an explorer across the world.
She had a pure, kind and gentle spirit that her late husband, Robert Kenneth Bees, Jr., kept protected.
Parkinson’s Disease crept in, taking away what limited mobility she had and soon… baking days disappeared. Even through pain, she never complained or lost her smile. She loved pancakes and even made them for dinner sometimes.
Diane loved the Lord, and she loved us in her own unique way.
She is loved and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Please consider making a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a breakthrough treatment and hopefully, a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
Her loving daughter,
Jennifer
