Steve was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease in his mid 50s. He did really well the first few years and we moved from Illinois to SC. He was doing well, particularly after joining a boxing class. He had more stamina and strength. Then Covid hit and the classes were canceled and his health declined rapidly. He had both physical and mental decline with the cognitive portion getting worse.
He passed away on 10/1/2020 suddenly.
He was an exceptional individual, extremely smart and a talented mechanical engineer. He felt horrible as he saw his mental acuity failing. He was a great son, friend and husband and missed terribly by all.
