$301.50Peabody - Antonetta (Bruno) Famolare (“Netta”) of Peabody passed away September 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and caregivers. She was the wife of Philip Famolare, with whom she shared nearly 70 years of marriage. Netta was born in Boston on February 1, 1932, daughter of the late Pasquale Bruno and Libby (Picinisco) Bruno. She worked as a machinist for many years until making a career shift to retail. She enjoyed nothing better than cooking for her family and was a consummate cook. She took much pleasure in Sunday drives with her husband, Phil, visiting with her family and friends, and often spoke fondly of the Florida and Hawaiian vacations the couple had enjoyed together.
Netta is survived by her husband, Philip; her son, John Famolare, his wife Diane of West Newbury, and their children and grandchildren; her sister Rose Mozzetta and her daughters Brenda Colangelo, Michelle Horrigan, and Jodi Mozzetta; and her sister Christine Salé and her son, Michael Salé. She also leaves many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Netta was predeceased by her sister, Anna DeMatteo, her brother, Richard Bruno, and her niece, Judy Mozzetta.
The funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Parkinson’s research. Arrangements are entrusted to Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Homes, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody, MA 09160.
