Raised in Tribute:
$2052.75“You’re never fully dressed without a smile.” My father, Trip Milliet, embodied this saying. His positive, warm spirit, big smile, and quick wit were infectious and always made others feel accepted and loved. Despite his battle with Parkinson’s and heart disease, you would have never known he was struggling. He always greeted people with a kind and warm grin. He had the strongest will to live and would try anything to keep up with his fast-paced grandkids and family. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at 57 years old in 2010 (far too young in our opinion) and lost his battle with his combined conditions on August 20, 2021. We are heartbroken and hope to keep my father’s legacy alive by helping others with this debilitating disease. There was nothing more he wanted than to make others feel better, giving them hope, healing, and smiles.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
