Don spent his adult life in ministry preaching the Word of God for the United Methodist Church. He retired in 2007. In January of 2021 contracted COVID in a long term care facility where he resided as a result of Lewy Body Dementia. He is loved by his wife, Jeanne, children Matthew and Sara, stepsons, Rob and Peter, their families and 7 wonderful grandchildren
