Raised in Tribute:
$200.00This photo, taken in March of this year, was one of the last times we saw our mother smile. Our mother, Mary Sue Johnson Keen Gaborik, passed away June 30, 2017, after a long struggle with Parkinson's. None of us knew anything about the disease when she was first diagnosed; but, over time, we came to realize the disease takes a devastating toll on a person's ability to smile, talk, walk, eat, and to engage in conversation.
The Fox Foundation's website was a big help in getting our mother and the whole family up to speed about the disease and the options for treatment and care. Before she could no longer talk, our mother asked us to help her organize some way to help others with Parkinson's. One way all of us can help is to support organizations such as the Fox Foundation. On behalf of our mother, we ask that you consider making a donation to this worthwhile group. --Thank you
