Lynn Choate was very special to all of us who knew him. He was a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, husband and friend.

He was funny. He was kind. He appreciated music, literature and nature. Above all, he was a gentleman. There's no one else quite like him, but for many of us he will always be a shining example of who we would most like to emulate.

While Parkinson's took so much from him, it never took that sweetness of personality that was uniquely his, or his wonderful sense of humor. We will never stop missing him. We were so very, very lucky to have him for the time we did.
