Raised in Tribute:
$100.00My Dad, Oliver William Stoughton, goes by Bill. He was born and raised in Butler, Pennsylvania on a dairy farm. He is now a retired American Airlines pilot who has been flying since his time at Allegheny College after which he went into the Air Force and taught non-English speaking Vietnamese pilots how to fly in formation during the Vietnam war. He'll be 80 this October 2017. We don't know why or how he got Parkinson's disease. Lots of theories, some I've heard - pilots have a higher incidence, and those that worked on a farm. I don't think Dad would have done anything differently if he knew. As we all know with this disease, it has it's daily challenges. Bill's wife, Sue is his biggest advocate and cheerleader, and his children, myself and 2 younger brothers, Billy and Scotty as well as his 4 grandchildren, Zach, Carly, Johnny and Blakeley pray and send positive thoughts every day in hopes that Dad will feel our energy and have strength to meet the daily struggles while being curious about trying new and different things that may bring happiness and contribute to a better quality of life. This smart, stoic, humble, hard working, honest man is our hero and we love him so very much. Your daughter, Annie
