Raised in Tribute:
$2650.00Our Dad, Jim Jensen, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the Fall of 2010.
Dad was a fighter and gave 110% in his battle with Parkinson's, as giving any less was not an option for him. He was truly an inspiration to each one of us and to the rest of his family and friends. He was an amazing example of never giving up when the times got tough, and there were plenty of tough times through this disease process. Dad was ready and willing to do anything and everything asked of him by his doctors, physical therapists, and caregivers, and, in fact, he would always give more than was expected of him. Dad always proved just how strong he was every time he was faced with a new obstacle in life.
Dad passed away on June 1, 2017, just three weeks before his 81st birthday.
He will always be remembered for how much he loved his wife and soulmate of almost 61 years and each one of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dad will also be remembered for his strong work ethic, his loyalty, his honesty, his determination, his generosity, and his wisdom. He was respected and respectful. He will be remembered for being a great man, and for being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. We miss him so much, but his influence and the life lessons he taught us will live on.
Our hope is to help raise money to find a cure for Parkinson's disease and pay tribute to our Dad.
