Khosrow "Steve" Sarrafzadeh born 6/2/1933 Died on 6/10/2017. He was a kind and loving person that passed after a short hospital stay. He left a wife- Deanna, three children- Steven, David and Karen, a daughter-in-law Tamara (David's wife), two grandchildren- Tylor & Isabelle and two faithful pets- Paris & Jaxs.

Family and friends held a special place in his heart. If he could, he would stop the world to be sure that their problems flowed smoothly. He had a special way of making people happy whether it be a joke or a kind deed. That list of deeds is endless from hugs to creativity like a remote control for a hot tub. He loved to party for any reason.

He immigrated to this country from Iran for education bringing with him a single suitcase and very few dollars. He worked endlessly while enrolled at San Francisco City College. He took more classes than the average person to keep his student Visa active and became a "professional student" learning and perfecting his English. During this era of his life he met and married Deanna in 1961 and started a family in 1963. He was very appreciative of the many opportunities that came his way and humble about his achievements.

While raising his children he was an active full-time father. He officiated at his sons swim meets, watched tennis matches and sat through ballet performances. As a husband he always made things flow smoothly and was very helpful with the household chores. His relaxing-time included playing tennis, riding his bike, morning coffee with a neighbor, daily walks with Paris and "building many casino hotels" with his losses.

He lived a full life and had many friends at work as an Electrical Engineer with the State of California, Department of Highways for 30 years; two consulting firms, Vali Cooper and lastly Ghirardelli Associates for another 20 years combined . There are many stories to tell over that time period. He fully retired approximately two years ago.

In the last ten years of his life he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. He left us peacefully and as he wanted.
