Barbara Anne (nee Ortner) Punzi of Havertown, Pa. passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. She was 70 years old. She is the loving wife of Vito L. Punzi and the beloved mother of Kathryn Anne (Mark) Weissenberger, Mary Helen (Adam) Hadley, and Joseph P. (Erin) Punzi. She was the devoted Grammy of Maebel Weissenberger, Peter, and Callen Punzi. She was the sister of James Ortner, and the late Margaret, and Robert Ortner.

Barbara was born on June 26, 1951 to Peter L. and Anna Margaret (nee Gabriel) Ortner in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn and Queens College. For many years, she was a Kindergarten aide at Annunciation BVM School in Havertown and a Library aide at the Haverford Township Free Library.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings on Friday July 9, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Funeral of John Stretch 236 East Eagle Road Havertown, Pa. 19083 and Saturday from 10 am to 10:45 am in Annunciation BVM Church 401 Brookline Blvd. Havertown, Pa. 19083 and to her Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 am. The interment will take place in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pa.
