Raised in Tribute:
$4550.00Donald P. Milone passed away on March 9, 2017 after living with Parkinson's for nearly 20 years. He benefitted greatly from advances in Parkinson's research; the latest medications enabled him to fight the disease into his 70's and allowed him to meet his life's pride-and-joy ( grand babies).
Upon his diagnosis, doctors told him that "Michael J. Fox is the best thing to ever happen to Parkinson's" and Don was grateful for the public attention MJF brought to the disease.
Don's greatest loves were his family, including 3 young grandchildren, and his 1967 Corvette coupe.
Don's legacy will enable others struggling with the disease to benefit from further advances in treatment and care, so they too may live to enjoy life, family, and antique sports cars.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $2 billion in high-impact research funded to date.
