Jack L. Lawrence, May 15, 1921 - December 25, 2016.
Early on Christmas morning we said goodbye to a loving husband, father and grandfather, Jack Lawrence.

His eldest son, Bill, beautifully stated "Dad was a devout Christian. He was born on a Sunday and passed away in the early hours of Christmas morning, his favorite day of the year. A life lived long and lived well, truly a cause for celebration."

On December 20, he and "his lovely bride", Sally, celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. Jack was a loving husband and father of six with nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is celebrated for his easy smile, a warm and caring spirit, his positive outlook and of course his sense of humor. How his blue eyes would sparkle after a very bad pun!

Jack was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011, but many of the symptoms of the disease started manifesting before the diagnosis. Through his journey with Parkinson's disease and then cancer he never complained, he always was so gracious and grateful for the love and help from the people around him.
We celebrate his love, his laughter, his gentle spirit and his love and joy for music.

A memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 14, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church 1820 15th Street, Boulder, CO, 80302. A private interment will be held at Fort Logan Military Cemetery on Friday, January 13.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research (this tribute site) or to celebrate hi life long joy for music, donations to Jubilate Sacred Singers.
