Steve was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease on May 15, 2015 after marrying a high school homeroom friend in January, 2014 . It's been a battle ever since. Lots of body movement and twitching, freezing while walking, forgetfulness, etc. He loves life so much and had high hopes after finding the love of his life who is standing by his side. He's doing everything he can to keep going; seeing the right doctors, counseling, PD exercise classes, etc. But Steve has complications with Chronic Pain from Degenerative Disc Disease and the doctors are disagreeing on medications so he is going through a really rough patch right now. He is hopeful that MJFox Foundation in collaboration with Other research will help him in his lifetime.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
