Raised in Tribute:
$200.00Michael (Mike) Kosiba was an incredible husband, father, grandfather. He passed on December 14, 2016 surrounded by his family after a battle with Parkinson's and other health issues.
Michael was born in Sioux City, IA to Frances and Walter Kosiba. He is an Alumni of Tampa Catholic High School and St. Leo University followed by over 30 years working at Verizon/GTE.
Service was always important to Michael, starting with his service in the Air Force followed by his service to his community in which he lived. He was a very active and valuable member with the Boy Scouts for the Diocese of St. Petersburg and the National Catholic Committee on Scouting, as well as contributing at numerous Catholic Churches and Spirit FM 90.5. And if that wasn't busy enough, he found time for his love of basketball, working as SID for TC Basketball to later as a basketball official working the clock for high school basketball games and tournaments. He is survived by his wife Judy Kosiba of 46 1/2 years of marriage ; sons Cory (Dottie), Chris (Cassie), his two grandchildren, Keenan, Calvin, his sisters, Debbie, Betsy Murphy(Jim) and by loving nieces, nephews, and a host of long time friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances and his brother, Joseph.
