Raised in Tribute:
$2000.00In loving memory of Robert W. Bell Jr.
It's safe to say that Bob Bell was one of the most amazing individuals I have ever known. Unlike those who were lucky enough to call him a friend, which were MANY, I had the privilege and honor of calling him family.
A man with an enormous heart, his generosity was overflowing and he was always there for a smile when you needed one.
And smile he did a lot. His smile and laugh brought happiness to so many around him, he was always one of the first people I sought out when visiting family in La Jolla for the holidays.
I have fond memories of swimming with him and my cousins at La Jolla Beach and Tennis, watching the football game on Thanksgiving and of course decorating the house for Christmas, as we enjoyed leftovers from Thanksgiving the night before.
As a high powered and incredibly successful attorney, I'm sure many of his professional colleagues could attest to his undeniable success over his career. What they would most likely also share, was Bob's naturally laid back attitude and easy going nature that made anyone and everyone comfortable.
He had that kind of incredibly ability to make you just feel like everything was going to be ok.
I always enjoyed the one on one time I got with him and his genuine interest in whatever I was up to in life, always made me feel great. We would talk about school or work, and he would always have some interesting experience or insight to share. As a young woman, trying my hand at various things, I always appreciated what he had to share.
He was an incredible father to Annie and Kate, who were then and are now, two of my favorite people, and the best husband to my amazing Aunt Lynn.
My heart his heavy that he is gone, but overflowing with memories and full of the love that he shared.
We will miss you Uncle Bob.
