WALTER CLARKSON DAY OF Livermore, California, passed away on October 24, 2016 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was 82.

Walt and his family greatly benefited from information provided by the Michael J. Fox Foundation as he dealt with the symptoms and impacts of this disease on his daily life. This organization does important research, and gets information out to families on new programs, medicines and treatments. For example, Walt found out about the LSVT BIG and Loud physical therapy programs that greatly improved his mobility and balance, and lifted his spirits. Through this program, he also learned about a special reverse walker that gave him increased stability when walking. Because of the positive impact of this organization on his life, Walt's family is asking interested persons to donate in his memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. We hope that soon this organization will help to find a cure for Parkinson's Disease.
