$1325.00Robert (Bob) Milkie was an incredible husband, father, grandfather. He passed on October 11, 2016 after a long battle with Parkinson's and other health issues.
Bob was born on September 23, 1932 to the late Emerson and Esther (Charles) Milkie in Vickery Ohio. He received his in Dairy Technology from Ohio State and his in Agricultural and Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State. Bob served as 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army, and on November 23, 1960 he married Susan Cassel. He worked for The Borden Co. in New York City and A. Epstein & Sons International in Chicago until his retirement in 2002. Bob was an internationally recognized horse show judge carded by the American Quarter Horse Association, the American Paint Horse Association, the Appaloosa Horse Club, the National Reining Horse Association, and the National Snaffle Bit Association. He is a Director Emeritus of the AQHA and two-time Past President of the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Association.
One of Bob's biggest pleasures of life was enjoying sports with his family and especially his two grandsons, Lane and Cade He was the ultimate Buckeye and Cleveland Indians fan and also attended as many of his grandsons' ballgames as possible. He had a fantasy football team with Cade for several years. He shared his passion for horses with his wife, Sue, and together they operated a 130-acre horse farm in Burlington, WI for 29 years.
