Tom Sowa passed away on Sept 25, 2016. Tom worked as the Attorney for Calhoun County for the last 20 years, a job he loved and took great pride in. Tom spent most nights doing law research for all the 'little' things that folks wanted him to take a 'quick" look at. Tom didn't believe in quickly doing anything and would always give every item his utmost attention.

Tom was a quiet reserved man with a since of humor that could be missed by those that didn't know him well. His office bordered on chaotic, but Tom always knew where every item belonged and could lay his hand on any file within minutes, assuming no one had rearranged anything!

Tom was happiest in the seat of his early 70's Datson 260z. When the 'Z' wasn't running, well, let's say he wasn't always happy with the Z.

Tom will be missed here at the County. We hope and pray for peace and comfort for his family.
