I want to share Aunt Bina's story with family and friends because I want this wonderful woman to be remembered as being a beautiful soul and never forgotten. She is almost 90 now and living in a local nursing home. Her Parkinson's is very advanced now and has severe dementia with it. She has to be spoon fed and in a wheelchair. I am her niece and I go to feed her as much as possible as I enjoy that connection with her. If I bring up people and family from the past she usually remembers them and we relive the fun times from years ago - the only era she recalls. Some days she is far away and some days present with me. I want her to know she is loved very much. She never had her own children so her nieces and nephews meant so much. I believe she also has Louie Bodies disease which often goes along with Parkinson's. I say this because she hallucinates and sees things that aren't there and has extreme anxiety. I am a monthly contributor now to Michael J. Fox foundation and pray a cure is found soon. My lovely Aunt does not deserve this disease nor does anyone. I love you Aunt Bina!!
