George is the grandson of Swedish immigrants. He grew up in Danbury, Wisconsin on a farm. He was always a hard worker and went into the Army and spent his time in Honolulu. He the worked 44 years at American Can Company in St Paul, Minnesota, raised 2 daughters Stacy and Audry in Stillwater while driving his Harley across the country and cruising the St Croix River as a pastime. George is a salt of the earth guy, well loved by all. Spends much of his time alone in Stillwater as it's hard for him to get around and his daughters live on the west coast. Parkinson's has been tough for him, we are taking this one day at a time.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
