Dick was born July 19, 1942 in Wisconsin, but his heart always belonged to a small town in Iowa. Every summer as a kid he would spent his time on a farm with his uncle. He spent most of his adult life with Diabetes. He worked at Waukesha Motor Works for decades after marrying his loving wife. They have four beautiful children and seven grandchildren. He was always there for the kids and putting their needs vefore his, well into their adulthood. He retired at the age of 62 and shortly after was diagnosed with Parkinson's. The shaking was mild because they caught it and medicated right away. He was diagnosed with dementia in March of 2016. It was hard to diagnose because it had the same symptoms as Parkinson's and it was fast moving.
He and his wife moved to Iowa in June 2016. Dick was at a care facility.
Dick lost his battle of diabetes, Parkinson's, and dementia on September 5, 2016. He was a fighter, but this fight drained him. He is missed by his wife, Kids, and grandkids.
