Robert Carl Treude, 80, of Severn, passed away at his home on May 15, 2021. He was born in El Campo, Texas to the late Norbert W. and Mary M. Treude. He graduated from Port Sulphur High School in Louisiana, class of 1959, and went on to work in the oil fields of Texas. He enlisted in the Air Force and in 1963, came to Fort Meade, MD. After he was honorably discharged, Bob married and went on to work at Westinghouse/Northrup Grumman, retiring as a manager after 33 years of service. He was an avid golfer and guitar maker.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carol Ann Croskey Treude; loving sons, David Treude and his wife, Denise, Scott Treude and his wife, Rachel Gibbs; cherished grandsons, Graydon and Evan Treude; and dear brother, “Buster and his wife, Judy.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue, (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, May 19th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The family requests that everyone please wear a mask. A private family burial will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
