My father served in the Vietnam War and was exposed to agent orange. That now has taken a toll on my father who is now battling Parkinsons. He is still full of life but can get frustrated with the simplest things some of us take for granted for example holding a spoon to feed himself or buttoning his pants. It pains me to see how this has affected his every day life.
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
