$450.84Gordon Foss, affectionately known by his family as “Deedo”, most recently of Powell, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side, on May 18, 2021, in his 78th year.
Deedo was born to Marshall and Mary Foss on February 6, 1944 in Brantford, Ontario Canada. He grew up with a love for airplanes, and after getting his pilot’s license, he decided to join the management ranks in the ever changing and dynamic airline industry. His career took him and his family to 8 different cities in Canada and the US, most recently living near family in Columbus, Ohio. He also was an avid hockey and golf fan and was an enthusiastic supporter of his children and grandchildren’s various endeavors.
Deedo is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Pat, his son David (Sue), his daughter Andrea (Jeff) and his grandchildren Jonathan, Emma, Abby, Will and Sam. He is also survived by his brother Chris and many brother and sister-in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews spread throughout the US and Canada. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Jon.
A memorial service will be held on May 25, 2021 at Rutherford Funeral Home, Powell, Ohio at 4:30pm. A memorial service and burial in Brantford, Ontario will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest a donation to either the Kobacker House Hospice, Columbus, Ohio or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
