Thank you for coming to our father's tribute page and making a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Our father was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2007, and began to suffer its severe ravages in mid-2008 when he began to suffer dementia in addition to the physical effects of the disease. It has been a truly heartbreaking eight years watching our father deteriorate, unable to play chess, the game he loved, and unable to enjoy his daily trips to Sizzler. Dad finally succumbed to Parkinson's on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
Unfortunately, Parkinson's has taken other members of our family as well. Previously, our father's cousin, Robert Scott, also lost his battle with Parkinson's. We feel very strongly about the research in the fight for a cure against Parkinson's, and we thank you for your donation in tribute to Fred H. Brock.
