My mom Betty was diagnosed with Parkinson at age 65 she continued to work in the medical field until age Parkinson symptoms have varied from shuffling gait,flat affect, drowling,tremors in arms and hands and has tried many medicines that work for a while while others have given her terrible side mom has been a trooper she lives in a nursing home which is very hard for the both of us but I make sure to stay very involved in her care!She just had a really bad spell with hallucinations that were very real and which she would share with me and a wonderful nurse practices named Barb!The best advice stay strong in the fight with your loved one ve there advocate!If you have feelings about a medicine stay on the doctor we finally got medicine straightened out so no more hallucinations she is alert and like her old self which is such a blessing! She still has tremors that are annoying but she just takes it one minute at a time!We have both admired Michael J Fox for all his hard work and his courageous fight through his battle with Parkinson!
