A father who loves you is a gift often taken for granted. That love comes through in so many ways, from the obvious hugs and kisses, to the subtle extra dollar for a candy bar. Our father Michele Costa was a loving, kind and sweet father. He loved nothing more than eating big Italian meals, spending time with his family and just lounging on the beach. He was a tailor all his life. Every day he would skillfully work with his hands, utilizing fine motor skills to stitch, and hem with perfect and beautiful accuracy. It was a profession he loved, but it was taken away from him as he slowly lost control of his body due to this Disease. Parkinson's disease slowly took away his ability to enjoy life even down to the simple act of walking and eventually eating. In lieu of flowers, we'd like you to consider contributing to The Michael J. Fox Foundation's mission to end Parkinson's in honor of our father, and the millions living with Parkinson's worldwide.
With love,
Maria, Diane and Michael
