Raised in Tribute:
$100.00Susan (Schiller) Latshaw fought a long courageous battle against Parkinson's Disease. Diagnosed in May of 1999 at the age of 53, she fought like a champ and recently celebrated both her 70th Birthday and 49th Wedding Anniversary in January 2016. On February 23, 2016, she left us so that she could "Dance with God". Sue, also affectionally known as Suzy-Q, was good natured, kind, loving, and had undoubtedly mastered the art of forgiveness. She had an incredible sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She loved to laugh and often made those around her laugh, with her sassy comebacks and sharp wit. Intelligent, thoughtful, warm and humorous are just some of the descriptors that best characterize Sue. She admired Michael J. Fox, her idol, for his resilience and optimism, and for all of his efforts in bringing awareness to Parkinson's Disease and facilitating the search for a cure.
Although Sue personally no longer has to "fight the good fight," the fight against Parkinson's Disease will continue by those she left behind. She is deeply missed, was/is loved by many and will never be forgotten.
A true champ. An inspiration to us all.
