My grandpa, Robert Simon, died of Parkinson's Disease four years ago, when I was 13 years old. I miss him more and more every day and hope that his name will live on forever. For this reason, I have started a project to raise money for Parkinson's Disease in his name. For this project, my mom and I hide rubber ducks in random places with a message written on them for those who find it to post where they found it with the hashtag #mylostduck. With every duck posted on social media, we donate a dollar to the Michael J. Fox foundation. We hope those who have found a duck will continue to support this foundation and donate! Thanks for all of your support! Keep an eye out for some of our ducks!
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The Foundation is the world's largest nonprofit funder of Parkinson's research, with more than $800 million in high-impact research funded to date.
